About Us

We are a small native plant nursery in the foothills of the Green Mountains in southern Vermont. Our goals are to make native plants more available in our area, raise awareness of the importance of planting native species, and increase the number of native plants growing in yards, gardens, and meadows in southern Vermont and beyond. We do not sell plants on line, only in person at the nursery.

We will be opening for the 2025 season on Saturday, May 17. We will be open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday    9 - 5.

Doellingeria umbellata

In 2018 we bought a piece of land in Westminster West, Vermont. A couple of years later we began to focus on introducing and encouraging native plant species. Since then we have seen the numbers of pollinators, as well as the number of species of pollinators, increase every year. While there are many ways of incorporating native plants into a landscape or garden, we love letting ours go wilder and wilder.

We are very intentional about what we grow, how we grow it, and why it's important. For more information about our nursery practices, click the button below.
